About Us
The TWI story started with humble beginnings as a father-son outfit in 2010 under the banner "Dura-Coat Spandrel Inc."
The Company was led by seasoned installer Darris (Father) and Jules Shaw, managing a modest crew working on various projects across western Canada and Toronto providing installation and building envelope consulting services. In the year 2016 Darris sadly was unable to continue working due to health complications and the company was dissolved, he succumbed to his illness in 2019 and is missed by all who knew him.
Jules continued to work in the Glazing business for Industry leaders (TCG, Flynn Canada LTD., Merit Glass Inc.) on major projects in Toronto and Vancouver until 2021, when TWI was formed after seeing a peak in demand for skilled trades, paired with severe labour shortages. Ever since conception T.W.I. has been firing on all cylinders and continues to deliver on all projects. TWI has become a staple sub-contractor for major glass shops in the lower mainland, always prioritizing and providing the best installation solutions for our clients.

With the majority of our business being in the commercial sector, we have branched out to retail and residential services, continuing to expand and develop a strong portfolio and reputation.
